Slow Worm (Anguis fragilis) & Common Shrew (Sorex araneus)

Slow Worm,
Although it may look very Snake-like this is in fack a legless Lizard prefering hedgerows and grassland,when attact it will shed its tail to distract predetors. This Female is happy to share its home with a Common Shrew.
